Bowling is one of the highest-participation sports in Special Olympics Canada, and 5-pin bowling is the most popular by far, with more than 2,100 registered athletes in BC. Although there are some modifications made for athletes with physical disabilities, athletes compete under the same rules and circumstances as generic athletes.
